President's Message

Happy Spring Chapter 2,

I hope everyone is having a nice start to spring, at least it feels like spring, or at least that second fake spring we get before we experience winter one more time. I wasn’t quite ready for this beautiful weather in early March, but it’s great for running and pulling weeds, so I’ll take advantage of it while I can. Given that it’s spring and time will fly faster than any of us expect, I’m going to ask you (YES YOU) to start thinking about nominations early. The board is made up of wonderful volunteers, and we are always looking for folks who want to get involved. If you have an interest in joining as our secretary for next year, please shoot me an email (Chadwick.wyler@pge.com). You can also call me at 925-391-4397, but I must warn you there’s a really good chance I start talking about undergrounding or remote grids or maybe even local zoning issues should you find yourself so inclined!

Getting that out of the way, we have events scheduled! For the first time ever (or at least that I can remember), we are doing IRWA Chapter 2 PICKLEBALL! There was a hope to get this together in February, but Pickle Athletics is a popular place.  This is something new for us, and I can’t wait to see you all there.  Eventbrite link is coming soon, so please register
